1. What We Collect

This website has no accounts or file uploads, so it doesn't collect personal details by itself. Its one form, for hospitals on the For Hospitals page, only prepares an email for you to send from your own account; the site doesn't send or store what you type. We only receive what you choose to send us: the details you enter if you book a discovery call, and whatever you write if you email us (for example your name, the country you live in, the surgery or condition you're asking about, and how soon you hope to be treated). We don't ask for medical records or identity documents through this website. Your browser also stores your cookie choice, and, only if you accept analytics, we collect aggregate visit statistics (see Section 6). This policy covers this website and your first contact with us. If you go on to become a patient, we will also need medical and travel documents from you (for example reports and, for a visa, passport details); we will tell you how to send them and how they are handled before you do.

2. Why We Collect It

What you send us is used to reply to you, to understand the care you are looking for, and to match you with hospitals and estimate costs and wait times. We do not sell personal or medical information.

3. Who We Share It With

Shortlisted partner hospitals receive the clinical information needed to produce a quote and accept a case. A few other services are involved when you use this site. Calendly runs the discovery-call booking. Your browser loads Calendly's booking widget from Calendly's servers as soon as you hover over, tap or tab to a "Book a Discovery Call" button, so Calendly can see basic technical details such as your IP address even if you don't go on to book; it also receives whatever you enter when you do book, under its own privacy policy. The email buttons open a Gmail compose window (a Google service) in a new tab, and what you write is sent from your own email account. Plausible provides site analytics, but only if you accept them. Our website hosting provider receives standard request logs (such as your IP address) when you load a page.

4. HIPAA, GDPR & International Transfer

OmLina is not a U.S. covered entity under HIPAA. For patients in the UK/EU, we process personal data as described here under applicable data-protection law. Because our partner hospitals are located outside the UK/EU (primarily India), information about your care will be shared with them there as part of arranging treatment. This is inherent to cross-border treatment and is a condition of using the service.

5. Data Retention

We keep what you send us for as long as needed to support your case and post-op follow-up (including the one-month follow-up after you are home), and longer where required by law or for legitimate record-keeping. You can ask us to delete it sooner; see Section 7.

6. Cookies

This site does not set cookies of its own. It saves your cookie choice in your browser's local storage so we don't ask you again. With your consent (see the banner), we also load Plausible Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used; if you decline, analytics never load. Calendly (see Section 3) may set its own cookies once its booking widget loads, whether or not you accept analytics, under its own policies. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this domain.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. If you are in the UK or EU, you also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in Section 9.

8. Children's Privacy

OmLina is intended for use by adults coordinating care for themselves or a dependent. Where a case involves a minor patient, it must be submitted and managed by a parent or legal guardian.
